When do you need to talk to our team about orthodontics with a clear approach? If you have poor alignment, whether minor or several, this could impact your smile’s appearance and cause you to feel uncomfortable. Poor alignment also means thorough brushing and flossing is more difficult and your smile has a greater risk of tooth decay and gum disease. You could also have strain on your jaw joints, which could lead to the onset of TMJ disorder and bruxism (teeth grinding). But we can help, and we can do so with a clear and comfortable approach using our custom aligner system!
While metal braces are an effective way to correct misalignment, these make dramatic impacts on your appearance during care, make brushing and flossing more difficult, and could require two or more years of commitment. But with the clear aligner system, we will create a series of appliances that fit over your teeth, which are also clear in appearance. These help gradually shift your smile and could offer results in as little as one year for some patients. These are also removable, so mealtime and brushing and flossing are all easier. You could even take these out for special occasions! Orthodontic treatment with a clear approach is possible, and we are ready to help.
Each set in the series we provide will be custom-made for your smile. Our team will start by examining your smile to assess the severity of your alignment and to see if this is the best choice for you. If so, we will take digital images and measurements of your smile, which experts in a dental lab will use to design and craft your aligners from a strong and BPA-free acrylic material, which is also clear in appearance. You can then start your journey to an even smile, wearing a set for 20 to 23 hours a day over a period of two weeks, and then doing the same with each subsequent set.
