Want to start spring by beginning your journey to an even smile? Then schedule an appointment with our team for a consultation! We will examine your smile to assess the cause and severity of your misalignment. From there, we can decide if you need our orthodontic clear aligners to correct your uneven smile. If so, then we will take detailed digital impressions of your bite, using intraoral cameras to obtain these clear and high-definition images quickly and comfortably. We then combine them to create a 3D impression, one far more accurate than a physical mold. Experts in a dental lab will then use these to begin designing your clear aligners.
Each set of clear aligners in the series will be custom-made for your smile by experts in a dental lab setting. These will be made from a BPA-free plastic material, one that is clear in appearance and which fits comfortably, so your experience is a more comfortable one. When they are ready, you will start the treatment process. Essentially, you will wear a set from the series for about 20 to 23 hours a day on average, and each set is then worn for about two weeks. For some, an even smile is possible in as little as one year. This helps improve the appearance of your smile, but can also boost overall oral health and bite function too.
The treatment process is comfortable, and will involve wearing your aligners daily. But did you know they are also removable? This means you can take them out before you eat each time, so that you do not have to avoid items that would otherwise be stuck in metal braces. This makes your day significantly easier. Being removable also means you can take them out before you brush and floss, so caring for your teeth and gums is much easier too. Being removable also means taking them out for special occasions, such as a first date, a job interview, or even a graduation or other special event.
We want to help you obtain even results, which can also boost oral health and even improve bite function. To learn more about clear and cozy orthodontic treatment, call Dr. Browne in Prairie Village, KS today at (913) 901-8585.
