Use Your Dental Benefits Before They Are Gone

Do you wish you had a straighter smile? If so, then talk to our team about using your remaining 2025 dental benefits before they are gone, and obtaining an even smile in 2026! In today’s blog, your Prairie Village, KS, dentist talks about using your dental benefits before they vanish!

Your Dental Insurance

Do you currently carry a dental insurance plan? If so, then you have benefits that will expire at the end of December unless you use them. Likewise, if you have a health savings account, then you also have funds that will disappear unless you put them to good use. If you have misalignment and have always wanted a straighter smile, then now is the time to talk to us about possible treatment options! Before the holiday season becomes too hectic, why not see us for a consultation and start the treatment process? Our office staff can help you understand your benefits so you know what is available and can receive an estimate on what portions of your treatments could be covered. Many plans include coverage options for orthodontic treatment!

Starting Your Orthodontic Treatment

Our team will start with an exam, one that utilized advanced digital imaging so we can assess the cause and extent of your misalignment, and then decide whether our clear aligners are the right choice for you. If so, we will then take multiple images quickly and comfortably with digital imaging, that way we can send these images and impressions to experts in a lab setting, who will then create a series of aligners from a clear material.

Correcting Uneven Smiles for Teens and Adults

When your orthodontic clear aligners are ready, you can begin the treatment process. You will wear a set daily for about 20 to 23 hours, and they will fit comfortably over your teeth. After about two weeks of this, you then move on to the next set in the series and continue the process until you see optimal results, which could take as little as one year for some patients. The process focuses mainly on your more visible and front facing teeth, so you see results faster. Straightening your smile not only improves your appearance, but your oral health and bite function too!

If you have any questions about using your dental benefits to start your orthodontic treatment now, then reach out to our team today to get started.
